Steve's Adventure Bio

Steve brings a wealth of outdoors experiences gained on 7 continents, over many years including in 2015, completion of the "Real Seven Summits"-the highest mountains on each continent. His experiences range across land, oceans, underground, in the air, on rivers and in the mountains.
He's flown a stunt plane, tried bull-riding, mountain biked 550 miles down the Yukon River solo in the Alaskan winter, is one of only a few hundred people to trek across Borneo, led a 42-day climbing and backpacking trip through the Sierras, ran his first marathon in 2 hrs 58 minutes, trialed in New Zealand's SAS selection course, SCUBA dived, rafted Class V rivers, and participated in a 10-day dogsled expedition in Minnesota. 
Professional Outdoors Experience 
Steve spent 7 years as an instructor with Outward Bound in the USA and Australia. He has additional outdoors adventure based training experience in New Zealand, with Wilson Learning, Pro Action Associates and several Australian and US colleges. He has been certified as a Ropes Course Facilitator by three organizations and is a Mountain Searchand Rescue Team Member.
Most of Steve's outdoors work has been with corporate groups but he also has also worked with Vietnam Veterans, Visually Impaired, Intellectually Handicapped, Father/Son, School, and Youth at Risk groups.
